Sports traumatology
SPORTHOMEDIC focuses in particular on the treatment of sports injuries. Primarily, we treat injuries of the knee joint (ruptures of the meniscus, cruciate ligament ruptures, ruptures of other ligaments), of the shoulder and of the ankle joint, both conservatively and surgically. Further, we treat injuries of the Achilles tendon (partial and complete rupture) by means of surgery.Beside the surgical treatment the after-treatment in close cooperation with the physiotherapist plays an important role for the patients’ healing process.
