Hallux valgus deformity
In today’s modern foot surgery the Hallux valgus deformity is the most frequent disease that requires treatment. It is a deformity and dysfunction of the important first ray of the foot over which generally approx. 40% of the midfoot-forefoot stress during the heel-to-toe rolling movement is carried out.
If untreated the Hallux valgus results in a variety of potential secondary damage of the adjoining parts of the forefoot. Accordingly, also from a prophylactic point of view the therapy of the Hallux valgus is of particular importance in the framework of foot deformities.
SPORTHOMEDIC offers you a differentiated and modern treatment concept in order to avoid or at least reduce potential secondary late damage. In this context joint-sustaining operative treatment measures come to the fore.
Accodingly, beside the degree of the deformity, its progress and the discomfort the avoidance of secondary damage should particularly be taken into account.
